2019 Vans RV10 (Project - 80% Complete)

£180,000.00

For Sale | 2019 Van’s RV-10 (Project - 80% Complete)

Vans Kit No. 41967.

A rare opportunity to acquire a substantially completed Van’s RV-10, built by experienced hands (current owners fifth RV project) and now offered at approximately 80% completion. This is a serious, well-executed build with a significant amount of time, cost, and complexity already behind it — presenting a clear, efficient path to completion for the next owner.

The wings and empennage are fully completed, signed off, and professionally primed and painted in soft white, with AeroLED lighting installed throughout and a Dynon roll servo fitted. The fuselage is well advanced, with doors, glazing, fuel system, braking system, dual fuel pumps and batteries, Dynon pitch servo, and Aerosport overhead console all installed. The interior has been fully primed and finished in a clean, neutral grey with satin lacquer, and a substantial amount of firewall-forward work has already been completed including engine mount installation.

Power is provided by a Lycoming IO-540-D4A5, sourced from an Aurigny Trislander and professionally inspected by Norvic, with approximately 500 hours since overhaul at removal. The engine has been test run, fully inhibited, and carefully preserved in a heated environment in accordance with Lycoming best practice. It benefits from high-quality supporting equipment including dual B&C alternators, B&C starter, regulators, and oil filter adapter. The aircraft has been configured for SDS electronic fuel injection and ignition, with components supplied and largely installed, and LAA approval already in place (subject to: Fly off: 40 hours as a two seat aeroplane / No Night or IFR flight for the forseable future). The system can be reverted to conventional setup if preferred.

The project is accompanied by a strong avionics and equipment package including Dynon SkyView HDX (with backup battery), Garmin GTN 355, Garmin G5, Dynon transponder, PS Engineering audio panel, AeroLED lighting, and a complete firewall-forward kit including exhaust, cooling and cowl components.

To complete, the aircraft will require propeller selection, interior trim, final panel installation, and exterior fuselage paint (with colour specification already defined). Realistically, this represents approximately £30,000 and around 12 months’ work to completion depending on pace.

With recent UK RV-10 transactions exceeding £300,000, this represents a compelling opportunity to step into one of the most capable and desirable experimental touring aircraft at a significantly reduced entry point.

Offers invited in the region of £180,000.
